For higher education options, the Grand Strand provides two universities, a technical college and several trade schools. The schools offer a variety of programs, degrees and learning environments that allow students to earn a degree or craft a new career. Degrees range from marine science to culinary arts while learning options run the gamut from Internet-based classes to weekend courses.
