Design

The interior sites circle Tranquility Lake and feature homes with rear courtyards facing the lake. Privacy walls extend from the rear corners of Lakeside homes without obstructing the angle of view and then lower to an elegant 24" - 42" wall with classic metal railing and ornate gates. This design element provides lakeside homeowners privacy as well as a well-defined yard where children, grandchildren, and family pets can enjoy themselves without intruding into neighboring yards. In addition the concept provides a cohesive lakeside architectural scheme.

Perimeter lots circle the Lakeside homes with the majority of the lots also featuring private courtyards on the back. The exception is lots 28 to 56 which feature magnificent contemporary floor plans where the courtyard is on the side, either in a rectangle or a U configuration. Courtyard homeowners create their own private oasis with such exciting options as waterfalls, fountains, swimming pool, spas, garden pond, formal gardens, tropical landscaping schemes, putting green, summer kitchen, lanai, greenhouse, private master retreat, and other available outdoor features.

Custom Designed/Custom Built Homes

Waterfall offers purchasers an array of exceptionally well-designed plans. Each takes full advantage of site elevation for maximum curb appeal. Each interior pays close attention to such factors as traffic flow, furniture placement, lighting and exterior views.

The brick exteriors feature cast-stone door and window trim on front elevations and natural or engineered stone accents.  These elements are virtually maintenance-free and provide both value and long-lasting beauty. Additional custom exterior details include hip roofs with complex designs, decorative entrance columns, expansive arched windows, and masonry privacy walls with split-face stone block and cast-stone crown molding. Waterfall home interiors are designed with emphasis on family gatherings and entertainment. Dramatic architectural features include arches, vaults, plant ledges, cathedral and tray ceilings, columns, and oversize windows that maximize exterior views. Standard custom features include custom molding and cabinetry, granite kitchen countertops, baths with granite, marble, steam showers, saunas, whirlpools, whole house music and intercom systems, security systems, and many other options not typical of most homes. Location

Located west of the Intracoastal Waterway, Waterfall enjoys a location that is the envy of many other communities. When at home, residents enjoy the privacy of a carefully landscaped and maintained gated community as well as personal waterfall features.

When residents need to leave, in less than 10 minutes, they can be at the oceanfront in the famous Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach when the new Main Street connector opens June 2009. Waterfall residents will also enjoy direct access to SC Highway 31, an interstate grade road that parallels US 17 South. It runs from SC Highway 9 & 17 on the north in the Little River area to SC Highway 544 just beyond the Myrtle Beach city limits at the entrance to Surfside Beach. There are interchanges at all major thoroughfares giving Waterfall owners easy access to everywhere they need to go – whether it’s east or west of the waterway!

Waterfall is located off SC Hwy 90 and Mt. Zion Road in the Little River, SC area

Driving Instructions:

- From Little River on Hwy 17 South, exit left at Hwy 90 to Conway. Follow Hwy 90 to right turn at Mt. Zion Road. Right turn at Waterfall entrance.
- From SC Hwy 9 heading south, exit right to Hwy 90 to Conway. Exit right onto Hwy 90 and follow to right turn at Mt. Zion Road. Right turn at Waterfall entrance.

- From North Myrtle Beach on Hwy 17 North, exit right at Hwy 90 to Conway just after Intracoastal Waterway Bridge. Turn left onto Hwy 90 and follow to right turn at Mt. Zion Road. Right turn at Waterfall entrance.
- From Hwy 22 East, take Hwy 90 east. Follow 90 to left turn at Mt. Zion Road.
- From Hwy 31 exit right onto SC 9 south. Exit right to Hyw 90 to Conway. Exit right onto Hwy 90 and follow to right turn at Mt. Zion Road.

- From Hwy 22 West, take Hwy 90 east. Follow 90 to left turn at Mt. Zion Road.
- The North Myrtle Beach Main Street Connector is under construction and slated to open June 2009. The connector will intersect with SC Hwy 90 just south of Mt. Zion Road. SC Hwy 31 will have exits onto the Main Street Connector.
